Since January 7th of 2024 this web site is compiled from prepared html snippets. Formerly it used a slightly modified txt2tags Python sckript. A markdown language didn't bring too much advantage for this site since html fits surprisingly well for the representation of formatted text, despite the not-so-good looking table code. Additionally it occationally would be useful to write links directly as text.
The display language follows Your browser's language. (This is visible in the different background colors in the language selectors in the middle of the top of the page.) In the rare case this doesn't reflect your personal wishes you can click on one of the languages to give a higher weight to it. You even can submit an own language description string, such as ?userlang=fr,en;q=0.8. (For more Information on the building of these description strings see the HTTP specification.)
